Our daily habits determine our long-term health. Sometimes small things make the biggest difference, and we do oversee them more than you notice, so here are 5 habits that you should be implementing more regularly in your day-to-day life.

1 Taking Multivitamin Supplements

As of today, more than 2 billion people worldwide are deprived of key vitamins and minerals, particularly vitamin A, iodine, iron, and zinc. Alone, not getting your daily dose of vitamin A can cause vision loss and blindness. It can also lead to complications with your skin, heart, lungs, tissues, and immune system, so taking your daily dose of multivitamin is a must.

2 Staying hydrated and getting enough water intake

Dehydration can lead to a lot of complications such as mentioned below

  • Headache, delirium and confusion.
  • Tiredness (fatigue).
  • Dizziness, weakness and lightheadedness.
  • Dry mouth and/or a dry cough.
  • High heart rate but low blood pressure.
  • Loss of appetite but maybe craving sugar.
  • Flushed (red) skin.
  • Swollen feet.

Getting the right amount of water intake is a must so you should definitely be completing your water intake goals everyday

3 Exercise Regularly and Be Physically Active

Did you know that exercise has some immediate benefits for your brain? If you didn’t, let me tell you that it helps with brain fog, reduces stress and anxiety, and makes you think clearly. There are so many physical benefits, and some of them are reduced chances of heart disease. It can also reduce your risk of developing type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome.

4 Reduce Sitting and Screen Time

Exercise cannot protect you from the effects of sitting for long periods of time. Even people who exercise regularly face the risk of diabetes, heart disease and stroke if they sit in front of a computer for long periods of time. practically speaking, you may want to consider taking breaks from sitting for long periods of time, such as walking around your office/room several times a day.

5 Go Easy on Alcohol and Stay Sober

It’s not a surprise that a lot of anything isn’t good for you, and alcohol is not an exception. In fact, it has a bunch of side effects, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, liver disease, and digestive problems. Cancer of the breast, mouth, throat, esophagus, voice box, liver, colon, and rectum. Weakening of the immune system, increasing the chances of getting sick. Learning and memory problems, including dementia and poor school performance and those calories add up quickly so that is an another problem
